Logo design for Philadelphia Sketch Club

Philadelphia Sketch Club, is a meeting place for artists to gather to practice, improve, and become better artists. It is also one of the oldest art clubs in America.
This redesigned logo was inspired by the Philadelphia Phillies pinwheel logo and the font was chosen based on the famous illustrator Norman Rockwell’s signature who was the illustrator for The Saturday Evening Post magazine that was published in Philadelphia.
Fun fact: The negative space by the pencil lead is shaped like a heart, representing the passion for art in the city of brotherly love.
